I love snatches, deadlifts, rope climbs, syncro & partner workouts, and am sometimes decent at doing CrossFit math.
My favorite hero workout is Glen!
CrossFit Level 1 Certification
Prior to starting CrossFit in 2016, I was doing at-home type workouts and running, both with no consistency & mediocre results. A colleague at the time had just started CrossFit at the only box in our little town. I had no idea what it was so I decided to check it out and was instantly hooked! Here are 4 of my favorite memories from CrossFit (so far): -Being able to have gained enough strength to deadlift my body weight. I vividly remember this day and was so proud! -PR'ing my snatch during a local competition with my brother. There's a pretty comical picture somewhere of me running through the boundary tape with the barbell overhead with him cheering in the background! -My mom started doing CrossFit with me around 2018. Her grit, determination & regular gain are inspiring to watch. Additionally, we have a family history of osteoporosis & strength training is a highly recommended preventative. -Since getting my L1 in 2019, I've been fortunate to be surrounded by a coaching staff that collaborates, invests in & encourages each other. Being a part of the team culture at Saddle Up CrossFit is something that I'm not only proud of but honored to be a part of.
I enjoy coaching because it gives me an opportunity to meet new people and help them find their own definition of success!
