Our Founding Members


What is CrossFit? 

"Constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements." 

At Saddle Up CrossFit  it is so much more than that. It is about community, setting goals and encouraging others. 

Whether your goal is to get in shape, lose weight, or get stronger this program is for you!
The workouts are different everyday and can be modified for all fitness levels. 

Movements include olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, metabolic conditioning, stretching and mobility

Coach Jill Hughes


Jill started CrossFit in 2014 as a way to get in shape and find a work out that she would enjoy doing. A friend introduced her to CrossFit and she has never looked back. Jill immediately fell in love with the community spirit CrossFit brings, and how encouraging it is to everyone that steps in the door. Jill obtained her CrossFit Level 1 certification in 2017 and has her CrossFit Gymnastic certification as well. As a registered nurse and a mom to two beautiful children, it is important to her to stay healthy and be fit. 

"I want to set an example to my kids for how to be active and work hard. I love competing and pushing myself farther and accomplishing the goals I set out to do. It is even more rewarding, as a coach, to see others reach their goals and see the difference that CrossFit has made in their lives."

Jason started CrossFit in 2014 to support Jill in her next "workout adventure.” After attending several classes he fell in love with the sport and the challenges it brings on a daily basis. Jason works full time at a local Equine Veterinary Clinic and trains horses on the side as well. Maintaining a level of fitness and activity is very important for his everyday life. 

Jason obtained his Level 1 CrossFit certification in 2017. He also obtains his CrossFit Gymnastics certification as well. 

"I enjoy working with people everyday and helping them with their fitness and health. The type of CrossFit community I want to build is one that leaves no one behind. The group of friends that we have met over the last few years doing CrossFit cannot be replaced and are some of the best people I know." 

The Box


Our facility is located on the back of our 40 acre property. The Box workout area is approximately 900 square feet with an additional covered awning to be utilized for workouts if needed. The facility includes a common area, along with bathroom with shower. Kids are welcome to hang out in this area or the backyard. We do not provide child care at this time.
